Gameplay retains the familiar drag-and-drop music style. Players select and place characters into the orchestra to create their own mix, each character having a unique sound effect and animation. However, the interesting aspect of version 15.0 Part 2 lies in the secret codes. When special codes such as trance, voided, givemeblack, blackcomeback, or ACTIVATETHEORB are entered, the game will change visual effects, colors, character states, and even unlock Phase 3 along with related badges. Some code also triggers glitch effects, screen distortion, or character transformations in a darker direction.

Lore and Characters

The lore is expanded with a story about a parasite outbreak that changes the world overnight. Many characters are affected, some deformed, some disappear, or become alien. The character bios in Phase 3 update the status of each character, giving a dark and melancholic feel.

In Phase 1, most characters remained fairly familiar, but there were minor changes in expression and movement. In Phases 2 and 3, things become more unstable as the parasite spreads, causing many characters to deform or disappear. Some characters look sad or exhausted, while others are completely controlled. These changes are not only in appearance but also reflected in new sound and lyrics.
